Definition of happiness when I am at college
The definition of happiness according to google is an emotional state characterized by feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment, and fulfillment. To me happiness can be caused by spending time with your friends, family, lover if you have one or maybe just doing a hobby you enjoy. I personally think that happiness for me especially now that I'm a college student is self growth and healing.
It has taken me more than five years to become accustomed to my personal needs and learn to heal wounds that have yet to heal. I have also started learning to be more gentle on myself which has definitely contributed to my happiness. Healing took more time then I myself ever bargained for but all that time and effort was worth it, I am happier now than I was ever before.
Another form of happiness that I have experienced in college is praise from my lecturers. I have never found myself enjoying praise from anyone until I started college. Knowing that my efforts in completing my tasks or assignments didn't go to waste definitely contributes to my happiness as well.

Spending time with my new friends and getting to know my classmates has also brought me a great deal of happiness, even though I struggle to make small talk them being extroverts definitely helps since they usually do the most talking. Getting along with them has definitely made the college experience much more worth wild, the dumb jokes we throw around, the juicy gossips, and most of all the helping hands when one us is in need of little help with our tasks or assignments.
