Mistakes I made in college and what I learned from them.
I've only been in college for two months now but I feel like I've made a thousand and one mistakes. One mistake I've made that I still find myself making every now and again but I'm definitely getting better at avoiding is procrastinating. I've procrastinated through doing my tasks until the very last minute which I still deeply regret.

Literally me |
I once found myself deciding to get all my chores done instead of doing my task first 😠I don't know what exactly got into me but I still ended up getting my chores done before finally doing my task. Moral of the story I learnt to not procrastinate doing my tasks until the very last minute.

Me the minute I finish an essay |
Another mistake I find myself making often is not double checking my spelling or grammar when writing an essay. I have yet to get into trouble but sooner or later I will. I've definitely learned to reread my essays at least two or three times before actually submitting them even then I am still not fully confident that I might have missed at least a full stop or coma somewhere in my essay, I am still struggling a little bit with my punctuations.
Another mistake I keep making that I really need to stop doing is oversleeping, it's not like I don't get sufficient sleep because I do. I sometimes try taking a 30 minute nap at 2 p.m. only to wake up at 6 p.m. feeling discombobulated. I almost got into trouble a couple of times but lucky for me my lecturers always take attendance nearing the end of their lectures. Maybe I over sleep because I eat to much? I'm not entirely sure but that could be a good reason why but even now that I'm on a diet and I've minimized my calorie intake I still find myself oversleeping. I should probably seek medical help but that seems a little to drastic of a measure to take, I'll see if I can find a fix for my oversleeping predicament at home before taking it up with a doctor.
